Director of eCommerce Solutions (Melbourne, FL or Silicon Valley)
Requirements:
The Director of eCommerce will develop and manage an on-line eCommerce strategy and plan that will drive awareness, demand and revenue for our fingerprint Smart Sensor solutions aimed at PC and mobile devices. The candidate will also be responsible for growing partner product awareness and increased partner revenues through the AuthenTec on-line channel. The ideal candidate will have a history with software development, understands the fundamentals of direct marketing, possess a solid working knowledge of e-commerce technologies and tools and can drive and manage content creation. The candidate must have a proven track record in building and managing a successful eCommerce channel. The candidate will leverage these experiences and successes to understand AuthenTec’s key technologies and drive an on-line eCommerce solution to expand AuthenTec’s market adoption.
The candidate must also have excellent sales planning, business development and marketing skills and must be capable of interfacing with senior management levels both internal and external to AuthenTec. Excellent presentation skills are required. The candidate will be team-oriented, self-starting, results driven and possess a keen attention to detail, as well as the ability to focus on the goals and mission of this position. Most importantly, he or she will have the capability to deliver results on time.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for strategic oversight, development and management of all aspects of AuthenTec’s eCommerce solution with the goal of increasing revenue through the sale of both AuthenTec and Partner products and solutions.
- Develop and drive the successful execution of new consumer-focused, on-line programs and campaigns targeted toward promoting both AuthenTec and partner products and services.
- Work with the Marcom team to develop and successfully implement program strategies and campaigns that drive traffic and revenue for the worldwide online store.
- Manage a tracking program to evaluate ROI and P&L and use other evaluation and success measurements to insure the strategic goals and business objectives are being met.
- Work with the Business Development team to help identify and secure partner products to be sold through the AuthenTec Webstore.
- Provide guidance to Marcom to help manage the prioritization and successful promotions, campaigns and strategies.
- Manage cross-functional teams in developing comprehensive go-to-market plans, gathering program requirements and managing its successful execution. Set program goals, analyze and communicate results.
- Work closely with senior management to align projects with business priorities.
- Optimize web programs and campaigns based on performance.
- Generate new program ideas and look for new ways to better promote AuthenTec products and its partner products.
- Be a customer and brand champion to ensure new programs and campaigns are appropriate and compelling.
Requirements:
- 5-10 years marketing and program development experience with 2-3 years direct eCommerce and/or Internet-channel experience.
- Experience creating an on-line presence and brand from start-up.
- Experience with technologies for on-line marketing of software including data capture technology, global transaction methodologies, affiliate networks and direct marketing.
- Extensive knowledge of the PC and mobile Market and marketing and selling software solutions to these markets, including both direct consumer and partners.
- Proven track record of building strong business relationships with both internal product management teams and external customers and partners.
- An extensive personal network in the mobile and PC software/services is preferred.
- Superior communications, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with senior executives internally and externally.
- Can identify strategic opportunities and recommend creative solutions.
- Highly organized with proven project management skills on cross-functional Marketing projects

Embedded Security Solutions Marketing Manager (Melbourne, FL)
Requirements:
We are currently seeking an Embedded Security Solutions Marketing Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for overall marketing strategy for the embedded security solutions group, including lead generation programs, marketing collateral development, and brand building.
- Create marketing collateral including presentations, product briefs, whitepapers, website content in close coordination with technical specialists.
- Develop product and market launches.
- Develop product positioning and messaging that differentiates our product in the market.
- Sales enablement – develop collateral, sales tools and value proposition that support the selling process.
- Market intelligence – maintain database of customer needs, programs and competitor products.
- Manage events, speaking engagements, and webinars.
- Establish innovative lead generation programs.
- Track marketing activities from a cost-benefit perspective.
- Work closely with Product Management, Market Development, Marketing Communications, and Sales teams.
- Travel worldwide to support sales team and customer base.
Required Education/Experience:
- Five years experience in a marketing role, preferably in embedded and security related environments
- Proven communications and writing skills.
- Must have product marketing and various marketing collateral experience.
- Technical background strongly preferred due to the highly technical nature of the embedded security solutions business
- Undergraduate technical degree required. MBA is a plus.
